Humayun's tomb

After strolling in Lodhi Gardens, we made our way to Humayun's Tomb. This tomb is considered one of the most magnificent around Delhi; actually according to my guidebook this tomb is considered the forerunner to the Taj Mahal. The tomb was built in 1565 by his wife, Bega Begum.

We climbed on-top of one of the tombs and I think at one point while I was taking pictures on the other side I lost track of the guys, but they were right there on the other side peaking at me.

1) Thank you for the history! I especially love that you quoted the guidebook. I expect as much from my e-tour guide. 2) I hope your friends have a picture of you taking a picture of them. Classic. 3) When are you going to have somebody build you your own monument? You need to get on that! No need to wait for a tomb. Maybe instead you should elect for a small bust of your head. That way, in case your ego grows, you'll remember how big your head was to begin with. :)
